Thank You From BalCC

Thank you to all the parents, families and carers who have blessed our BalCC Staff with acts of kindness throughout 2021. A special thank you to Trisha in Year 6 and her mum, Raakhee for preparing some North Indian cuisine this week as a way of sharing their love for food with our staff.


Raakhee said “Even though this is one of the world's spiciest cuisines, we did our best to make it just right hope it was not too hot, just enough for a few volcanic eruptions in your mouth. The dishes we prepared were Chana masala or Chickpea masala an extremely flavoursome curry, best paired with the simple Cumin, Potato and Cauli Pulav (Rice), or the good ol' Naan bread. A curry meal would not be the same without Papadam and Raita, a classic yoghurt dip that has a contrast cooling effect. Another go to snack are the hot Samosas as they add a little kick to the meal. We enjoyed putting this together for you all as a thank you to the sensational staff for a wonderful year. God Bless You All!
