At Ballarat Christian College we are keen to be involved with our students beyond graduation and recognise that being part on an alumni community can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience.
Through our alumni community you can:

Advise, help and inspire current students by providing career or study advice at our Careers Day in July each year, which coincides with our annual Secondary Pathways Expo or at other times throughout the year.

Canteen

Commencing Term 1, 2024,  the College Canteen will operate on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and  Friday.


Orders must be placed before 9.00am on Canteen days.


Lunch service will be during LUNCH  2 ; no over-the-counter sales are available at this stage.


The system is very easy to use. You need to set up an account in your name and add your children. If you have older children they can set up their own account if you wish for them to do so. 


The current menu is available through the QuickCliq website (login required); it may change according to seasonal needs.

Café 6:8

Established in 2023, Café 6:8 provides a hospitality and catering space for the College, as well as being an integral part of the Year 9 Micah 6:8 program.

 

Students in Years 5-12 are welcome to purchase (cash or card) from Café 6:8.

Open Thursdays Lunch 1 & 2.


Items may vary from week to week and are available until sold out.

Ballarat Christian College is a co-educational P-12 Independent Christian school and a member of Christian Schools Australia.

Ballarat Christian College, as our name implies, offers an unashamedly Christian education, from a Protestant Evangelical tradition. The Bible is central to all aspects of our curriculum. All subjects are taught from a biblical perspective, helping students to measure all truth against the truth of God's Word. The successful applicant will work and act in accordance with the Biblical principles and beliefs as set out in the College’s Statement of Faith and the Staff Code of Conduct. It is an inherent requirement that staff are supportive of and abide by the Christian foundations, Christian ethos and Christian practice at the College. Applicants must satisfy VIC Working with Children Check requirements and be eligible to work in Australia.

Fundraising SPARSH

SPARSH Academy is a non-profit educational institution that operates in the Tehri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand, North India, at the foot of Himalayas. The founder is Brother Francis Robinson, a graduate of Doon Bible College, who had a desire to provide an education facility for the children who live in this mountainous region. SPARSH Academy focuses on Education, Community Development, Health and Hygiene, Child Development, and Literacy programs.

 

Ballarat Christian College partners with SPARSH Academy to support underprivileged children through educational and nutritional projects. Our financial assistance to SPARSH Academy is through fundraising by BalCC students & staff, and donations from parents and supporters.
