STAFF PROFILE: Simon Lewis
Simon completed his Bachelor of Health and Physical Education at Deakin University in 2014. He taught Maths and Health and Physical Education at Stawell Secondary College before returning to study, graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2020.
Simon has a broad range of experience, having worked as a sound technician, personal trainer, drum teacher, youth pastor, physiotherapist, and in retail. This breadth of knowledge helps Simon to connect learning to student’s interests and make the content relevant and engaging.
Growing up in Melbourne, Simon lived in Stawell and Ararat before moving to Ballarat in 2017, where he currently lives with his wife Amy and two daughters Evie and Sophie. He enjoys hiking, sport, hitting the gym or the drums, completing research, and being creative in the kitchen. Simon joined Ballarat Christian College this year and is teaching Year 7 Maths and continues to treat local Ballarat patients as a physiotherapist.
