Prep: Science Week Activity
To celebrate National Science Week our BalCC Science department are running lunchtime activities all this week. National Science Week is Australia’s annual celebration of science and technology. The school theme for National Science Week 2021 is Food: Different by Design. The theme honours the United Nations International Year of Fruits and Vegetables and the International Year of Creative Economy for Sustainable Development. Our Science Faculty Co-ordinator, Leanne Coventry ran an experiment with the Prep students to see what peeled and unpeeled fruits would or would not float.
