Jodie Rickard

Jodie is married to Chris and moved from Melbourne to Ballarat thirty-three years ago. She has four adult children and three grandchildren. Each of her children have spent some time as students at BalCC Her eldest child helped make up the required ten students many years ago when the school operated out of relocatable classrooms in Vickers Street. She currently is relocating to Ballarat from Beaufort and attends Rise Christian Church.

“Blessed is the man who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly” Psalm 1.1 was the scripture Jodie read after having her first child that inspired her to either home school or have her children taught by Christians. Jodie has a commitment to lifelong learning .

Jodie is a Registered Nurse and works at a regional hospital.   She and Chris have spent the last seven years assisting in the founding of an orphanage in Liberia, Africa and helping some Liberian ministries with their vision and developing an income stream.
